When Phyllis took the time to create the 100 Confidence Hacks for the students in our summer program and then reviewed it in the session with them, that was awesome! The whole exercise was impactful, especially when she explained and practiced the power of "I am First Name, Last Name, instead of just my name is.

That carried on throughout the rest of the summer program with the kiddos. From the day she was there and talked about confidence, they commented how they liked "getting in the circle to talk”. When we asked why, they said “because we got to listen to Ms. Clark and getting to hear her stories." "My favorite was learning to be more confident."

Phyllis is a woman with so much class, knowledge and sass!

I first met Phyllis at Simmons College of Kentucky. She was the coordinator for the Simmons Scholar program and my First Year Experience teacher. Phyllis has been a great teacher, friend and mentor to me throughout my college and business journey. She is a woman who loves to see other women win and I love that about her. She has given me hope when I felt defeated, and has spoken encouraging words when I felt depleted. A woman of great character and leadership and I pride myself in knowing such a beautiful soul.
